The event was attended by delegations from all over the CIS-area. Armenia was represented by the South Caucasus Railway.
The Armenian company was one of the highlights of the summit's exhibition. The work done by the company and the $245mln invested in Armenia's railways in 2009-2014, was displayed to the visitors.
Deputy CEO Oleg Shatalov and Head of the Transportation Service Center Zara Agasafyan gave interviews to local mass media.
During the summit Shatalov delivered a report on his company's activities and plans. For many guests from Europe it was surprising that the South Caucasus Railway still is the subsidiary of the Russian Railways.
Several visitors asked when the Iranian-Armenian railway will be ready. Among the guest was Georgy Bekua, advisor of Georgia's Economy and Stable Development Minister.
The South Caucasus Railway has 30-year concession to the Armenian Railways.
