To supply cables for new metro trains
HUBER+SUHNER has received a new contract to supply Radox cables for the series production of 54 carriages for new metro trains in a major Russian city.
Alexey Chernychev, Business Development Manager, HUBER+SUHNER Russia, said, “The project is a milestone for HUBER+SUHNER. For the first time, we have been able to use our foreign-produced rail cables on the Russian metro railway market for the series production of metro trains. Our work towards certification over the past few years and the wide range of tests has been rewarded.”
HUBER+SUHNER will provide full range of Radox rail cables including Radox databus cables and Radox signal, and power cables. The trains are being manufactured in a joint venture between Russian and Czech mechanical engineering companies.
