Alstom receives new contract from DMRC
Published: Mon, 2015-02-23 09:42Alstom has received a new track work contract worth EUR 25 million from India’s Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
The delivery is scheduled by the end of 2016. According to the contract, Alstom will provide track work for new Line 7, 59km long serving 38 station. "Alstom’s state-of-the-art rail infrastructure solutions not only provide high performance levels, but also reduce operating costs while offering passengers an optimum comfort. Through its complete range of systems, Alstom is well positioned to support metro project developments across India," said Dominique Pouliquen, Senior Vice-President, Alstom Transport Asia-Pacific.
The Line 7 is part of the Delhi Metro Phase III project to extend the metro network from 6 to 8 lines by 2017.
