Chinese CRCC corporation has demanded from the Mexican government to pay compensation in the amount of $ 3.75 billion for the failed project for the building of a high-speed rail line.
Construction of the high-speed rail line in Mexico should have been the largest foreign tender in the history of China. However, the Mexican government has abruptly canceled the tender, due to budget cuts.
Recall, that the results of the tender cancelled for the second time. Earlier CRCC had already applied for the project and even won the corresponding tender, which results, however were declared as invalid, due to claims of local companies.
