Russia’s Evraz to start rail supplies to Brazil
Published: Fri, 2015-02-06 08:00Evraz, one of Russia’s largest metallurgical companies, has signed two contracts for the supply of rails to Brazil, according to the press service of the company.
The first batch of rails with the total weight of 4,000 tonnes will be used on the building of the 30-kilometer rail line, which will connect one of the country’s largest pulp mills with a network of main railway operator in Brazil Latin America Logistic (ALL).
At the same time a second contract involves the supply of 300 tons of rails for the production of turnouts for a new railway, which is currently built by the Brazilian government.
