Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Germany recently on the second leg of a three-nation tour during which he searched Germany’s support for his 'Make in India' campaign.
The Prime Minister visited the main railway station in Berlin amid his government's agenda of modernizing railways. He also visited Siemens production facility, reported Indian newspaper The Tribune.
At Hannover Fair Business Summit, the Indian PM focused in his statement on the possibilities for promoting trade and industrial cooperation between India and Germany.
Detailed discussions was held between PM and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on various aspects of bilateral relations and international issues of "mutual interest" at their official talks in Berlin on Tuesday.
Germany is India's largest trading partner in the EU and one of the top ten global trading partners.
The total exchange of goods and services between the two countries was valued at around 15.96 billion euros last year.
