Siemens to invest 60 million euros in building of new repair depot in Russia

German Siemens plans to invest up to 60 million euros in the building of a new repair depot for technical servicing of Sapsan and Lastochka trains in Russia, according to the company.
It is planned that the new depot will be built in the St. Petersburg region.
The new depot will focus on the service, diagnostics and overhaul of the trains. According to initial plans of Siemens, the new depot should have been built at the beginning of the current year, however, due to the current crisis in Russia, implementation of the project was suspended.
